Elizabeth “Laaeyiilaa” is a mother, writer, gardener/farmer, forager, agroforester, daughter, artist, companion to the Earth, and a country gal at heart. Forests, lakes, ponds, and singing brooks are her favorite places to be at ease and be inspired. A background in public health, psychology, and graduate coursework in divinity, Elizabeth is at home facilitating a sense of wholeness and healing with individuals and small groups. Cofounder and Co-director of Harmony Homestead and Wholeness Center, Inc., a nonprofit retreat farm that connects the marginalized global majority to fresh food and sanctuary nature spaces, Elizabeth combines many areas of her life experience, education, with her passion to explore nature-immersed life. Facilitating and teaching Reiki self-healing modalities are among her favorite offerings. Located between Columbia County and Berkshire County, and within an hour from Albany, her home region, she is honored to be doing what she loves most so close to her childhood communities that helped shape her abundantly grace-filled creative life.
